Hi there — we’re so glad you found us. 
This forum was born out of frustration with dating sites and the lack of a proper online home for Londoners. I could not believe that in a metropolis of over 8 million people there was no internet forum dedicated to us — only a political one. So AstroPal was born.
You are one of the first to join and we’re still in the early stages, so please bear with us as we keep making things better. Friendly suggestions are always welcome — there’s a thread for that.
Why “Astro”?
Because we’re all made of stardust, formed in stars millions of years ago. Pretty special, huh?! 
Why “Pal”?
This is a space to make friends, pals, potential lovers — and maybe even collaborators.
House Rules
Be kind. It really is as simple as that. If what you’re about to type might hurt someone, keep it to yourself.
- It’s fine for others to have a different opinion — that’s what makes the world interesting
- Listen, learn, and ask rather than assume
- Violent language aimed at any individual or group will not be tolerated
- If it’s not kind, don’t say it
This is a supportive place and everyone is welcome.
Goodness knows London is tough enough. Coming here should feel like sitting in your favourite armchair with a hot cuppa — so put your feet up and enjoy getting to know other Londoners. 
A Note on Mental Health
This is not a mental health forum, but we care about our community. This is a 24/7 space and won’t be moderated at all times. If you’re struggling:
